2nd Annual Gerald J. Friedman Fellows Symposium 2009

Nutrition, Diabetes and Human Health

2011 Symposium: 11.14.11  |  Log In
Dear Fellows and Mentors,

Last year’s Symposium was such a resounding success on so many levels, we felt loathe to let the economic climate slow us down.

It is with this in mind that we decided to forge ahead and hope you are happy with our decision to mount the Second Annual Friedman Fellows Symposium with this ‘virtual’ effort.

We now have a Friedman Fellows website to house our ‘virtual symposium’ and are sure we will find many other ways to make use of this site as well.

This year we have presentations from fellows representing Harvard Medical School, University of California, Tufts University, Rockefeller University, Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Beth Israel Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

We hope that while browsing through the website and symposium, you will connect with those whose work you find interesting, and benefit from the opportunities to forge new relationships and renew old ones.

Thank you for your participation in preparation for the website and for the symposium. We welcome you to both and look forward to spending next year’s symposium together in the most exciting of ways.

Best regards,

Jane Friedman & Leonid Poretsky, MD
